Isn’t that just amazing? Retiring from a professional career at 16. Alysa started figure skating when she was just 7-year-old and she holds the title of youngest US national champion in the sport. The only that can describe her brilliance on the ice is ‘magnificent.’

As she ends her brief yet incredible career, Alysa is receiving innumerable wishes from athletes across the world. Her compatriot and fellow figure skater Mariah Bell also commented on her farewell post on Instagram. Mariah wrote, “Such an awesome career Alysa!! So fun to have shared the last couple years with you!”

While Olympian Laurie Hernandez wrote, “so proud of you!!!” Furthermore, French figure skater Maé-Bérénice Méité wrote, “Congratulations on an amazing career, we’ll miss you brightness and joyful spirit at competitions, wishing nothing but the best in your next endeavor.”
Amongst other prominent names wishing Alysa, a great future ahead was Mexican figure skater Andrea Montesinos. former American figure skater Michelle Kwan and Polina Edmunds.
Bronze medal at World Championships 2022
When Alysa won a bronze medal at the world figure skating championships, everyone saw her as the future of American figure skating. However, the 16-year-old probably had some other plans going on in her mind. Undoubtedly, she is one of the most remarkable figure skaters ever and she proved the same in the world championship.

Alysa is just 16 right now. She has a lifetime to pursue, experience, and excel in anything that she wishes to do. Although her figure skating chapter is over now she’ll be missed by fans for a long, long time.
