With a 2773 rating in classical chess, the 27-year-old Grand Master is currently number nine in the FIDE world chess ranking. Anish Giri has won the Dutch championship four -times and in 2015 he was ranked third in the world ranking.

Chess Grand Master Anish Giri supports Elon Musk’s opinion

While being on Twitter was his favorite pass time, Anish no longer feels excited about the social media platform anymore. Re-tweeting a post by billionaire Elon Musk, he wrote, “Yes, I am also kinda done with it tbh.”

Giri’s tweet was in response to Elon’s question “Most of these ?top? accounts tweet rarely and post very little content. Is Twitter dying?” The founder of Tesla and Space X even specifically pointed out Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber for not posting on Twitter for a very long time.
