The main bull riding event will take place on October 21 at 7 p.m. The Grandstand Arena will be the venue for the Xtreme Bulls event. According to USA Today, this event will showcase some of the meanest bovines in the bull riding world. The riders will have a tough time trying to stay atop these raging beasts as they kick and buck, much to the delight of the fans. Over a million people gather at the fairgrounds, a significant portion of whom attend solely to witness bull riding history in the making.
Last year, they cheered for the winner, Colton Byram, who rode Salt River Rodeo’s Kryptonite. He left the competition with $5,358 in his pockets. The runner-up, Dalton Walling, received $4,108, while the third-place finisher, Wingson DaSilva, made $3,036. The total payout was to the tune of $17,860, making it a highly lucrative event for the top competitors. However, bull riding won’t be the only attraction at the Arizona State Fair.

Diverse attractions beyond bull riding at the Arizona State Fair
The organizers have introduced a few unique attractions that will leave fairgoers fill of excitement. One such attraction is Figure 8 racing, where the traditional rules of racing are turned on their head to encourage vehicular contact. As the drivers speed through the course, spectators will feel the thrill of the crashes and near misses. There will also be a live concert featuring Mini Kiss on September 28 and 29. The live entertainment shows don’t end there, as Tyzen the Comedy Hypnotist will also make an appearance.

Kids can enjoy watching the acrobatics show on September 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. The artists will swing, soar, and perform other mind-blowing stunts on trapezes at the Flying Royals Stage. The bull riding event, in conjunction with these attractions, will surely draw larger crowds to the fair and ensure its success once again.
