The current world leader, Kaique Pacheco from Itatiba, Brazil, continued to gain ground as the world No. 2 and the two-time PBR World Champion. Jose Vitor Leme from Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil, remained on the sideline due to an injury. Cooper Davis’ win took him from no. 5 to no. 4 in just three days. Earlier, Pacheco only had a lead of 2.5 points. However, as the weekend closed, he had a lead of 118.5 points over the second.
On Friday night, as the three-day weekend at First Interstate Arena at MetraPark got underway, Davis captured his fourth-round win of 2023 Unleash the Bull season and won the first round with a score of 88.75. Davis began the weekend placed sixth place, but soon, he rode blazing in on Taylor’s Cowtown Throwdown and won over hearts. The 2022 Carolina Cowboy in the separate PBR Team Series was paired with Toasted and seemed cool, calm, and collected throughout the night.

After sharing second place with Lucas Divino from Nova Crixas, Brazil, because of the matching 87-point scores in Round 2, Davis has now set his sights on Championship Sunday.
