John Crimber, the 18-year-old bull-riding prodigy has been making many heads turn his way. The youngster marked his stellar debut in mid-August at the PBR Challenger Series in Texas. Placing third in his first-ever PBR event, Crimber has grown to embrace as many as nine firsts ever since. Carrying all of his stunning performances, John not only stepped into newer arenas but also claimed the ‘Teenage Phenomenon’ tag.

In October 2023, John walked to make his Canada debut at the ongoing Cup Series. A 91.5 score on the board and the thrilling win for the night was to the youngster’s name. Though Crimber did not make his way to the National Finals, he made sure to mark a memorable presence elsewhere; wooing the crowd in Tucson.

Bull riding sensation wins over the crowd

Over the last weekend, PBR hosted its 2024 Unleash The Beast (UTB) Season launch in Tucson Arena. The opening event welcomed 40 of the best in the industry to lock horns for the organization’s biggest series. John Crimber, who was on the favorites list making his UTB debut, did not disappoint the spectators on the watch. “In his Unleash The Beast debut, John Crimber stunned the crowd with this ride,” PBR wrote sharing Crimber’s performance on Instagram.

Crimber rode atop Sky Walker for a stunning 89-point ride for the evening. His presence called for a worthy remark for one of the announcers saying, “That’s the greatest 18-year-old bull rider on the planet Earth right now,” and with Crimber’s record, the stance held a base. The young sensation tied with Andrew Alvidrez and Kyler Oliver for 28.33 event points. As John made his biggest debut yet, his PBR-fame father, Paulo Crimber, proudly graced the stands.

John receives heartfelt remarks

Paulo Crimber, who set foot in America 25 years ago, steadily grew to establish his name in the industry. The Brazilian native throughout his career made it to the PBR World Finals 10 times and has now retired to being the coach of Arizona Ridge Riders. Though he moved on from the participation, the veteran’s legacy is in continuation by his son John Crimber.

“It’s another dream come true for me having him come and do what I did, what brought me to America and I cannot be more proud,” Paulo said about John’s debut. “He just knows what he wants and he gets whatever it takes to get it done.” The 18-year-old started riding ever since he was 5, majorly influenced by his father; expressing that watching Paulo was the whole reason he wanted to get into it. Fast forward to 2023, the prodigy has made it big and well, steady on the path of greatness.
