Sage Kimzey has been a notable rider in the bull riding world. Prominently competing for the  Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Professional Bull Riders circuits, the bull rider has earned 7 World Champion titles to his name. But along the way, Sage couldn’t escape the adversity of the sporting community; a serious injury.

Having fallen victim to the injury back in July, Kimzey was forced to sit out of his bull-riding career for a period of six weeks. And through his path to recovery, Sage Kimzey has made sure to keep himself occupied; but just not on the field. However, following through his crouse, the famed rider has an exciting announcement for the fans. Taking to his Instagram on Saturday, Kimzey had the fans in a frenzy by sharing a piece of news.

Sage Kimzey has an announcement for the Bull Riding enthusiasts

For the bull-riding community, it is the most exciting time of the season. The annual PBR team series with over 500 bull riders from around the world has been back with its schedule through the months of July to October. With having to take a step back since its official beginning, Sage Kimzey has missed out on being back on the ground with his Carolina Cowboys.

Nonetheless, after completing his quota, it is time for Kimzey to get back on track. And announcing the same for his staunch followers, Sage Kimzey shared an Instagram update marking his return. Captioning the post, Sage wrote, “That feeling when you are cleared to ride,” sending fans into a joyous excitement.

Following his post, Kimzey made his first official presence at the PBR team series on the 16th of September. And being back to his usual self and showcasing his worthiness towards his World titles, Kenzy put on quite the show.

Kimzey Makes a Strong Comeback Post-Injury

It was during the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, that Sage succumbed to the most grueling of his injuries. On July 28th, riding on Devil’s Revenge for the semifinals, Kimzey buckled off his bull right before the 8-second whistle landing right on his left shoulder. The injury required the bull rider surgery with an assumed six-week off-court. The incident led Kimzey to his first spectacular run on Saturday against the Kansas City Outlaws.

Sharing Sage’s performance for the night, PBR wrote, “The No.1 draft pick is back tonight! Here’s a reminder why Sage Kimzey was a top pick.” Sage earned a total score point of 90 further taking the Carolina Cowboys for a win. The Outlaws lost to the Cowboys for a score ending the night at 171.25 to 89.

Sage Kimzey will be back on the field on the 17th against the Austin Gamblers who stand top of the table currently. Sunday’s challenging match will be Kimzey’s first of many to come for the rest of the series. As he persists, Sage seems ready to take on more of the title that the bull riding community has to offer; while the fans eagerly await.
