Texas Rodeo Elite Gears Up for Women?s Rodeo World Championship, Here?s the Action Packed Schedule

The adrenaline rush that bull-riding provides makes it a thrill for spectators. The sport has garnered new heights in recent years as women’s participation has increased more and more. The 2023 Women’s Rodeo World Championship was highly successful and enjoyed by rodeo enthusiasts. Now, the fans are even more excited as the 2024 schedule comes out.

Organized by World Champions Rodeo Alliance and Professional Bull Riders, the Women’s Rodeo World Championship will kickstart in May 2024. The champions will later be crowned in Texas.

Womens Rodeo World Championship 2024 Schedule out

WRWC is the richest women’s rodeo and has seen massive growth over the years. Following this year’s successful event, PBR and WCRA have announced the full schedule for the 2024 season. In a major announcement, the champions will be taking a hefty $750,000 amount home.

The event will kickstart on May 13 inside Cowtown Coliseum. Round 1, Round 2, Semi-Finals, and Showdown rounds will take place at the same venue in successive days till May 16. Following the Showdown round, the championship finals will be held in Arlington, Texas at the iconic AT&T Stadium. The inaugural WRWC event was held at the same venue in 2020 as well.

The Barrel Racing finals will take place on May 18 while Breakaway and Team Roping champions will be crowned the next day on May 19. The 2024 Women’s Rodeo World Championship will have a total of 4 disciplines: Team Roping, Breakaway Roping and Barrel Racing. Following the announcement of the schedule, a massive purse was also announced by WCRA.

The Women’s Rodeo World Championship started in 2020, resulting in massive growth in the women?s rodeo arena. Riders qualify for the event by accumulating points over the season which are measured using the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier. Each year, a number of athletes participate in the event and earn huge prize money.

The 2024 Championship will have a massive purse of $750,000. All the rodeos will be eyeing this historical prize money along with the $20,000 all-around bonus.
