On December 2 and 3, the stands of Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, witnessed a spur-struck spectacle. The Unleash the Beast Tour saw top bull-riding icons go head-to-head for a $3 million cash prize. The iconic Sage Kimzey was a crowd favorite; however, he trailed behind the formidable competition in sixth place.

The spotlight shone on rookie Cassio Dias of Brazil, who took home the UTB title, while Alan de Souza came in second and Eduardo Aparecido came in third. But despite the loss Kimzey faced, he still managed to win something even more precious, and that was thousands of fans’ hearts online and even some Bull-Riding legends.

Sage Kimzey delivers a thrilling spectacle

In an Instagram post by 7x PRCA Champion Sage Kimzey, he gave a glimpse of round two of the Unleash the Beast Tour in St. Louis. In the thrilling round, he went 2-for-2 with the magnificent bull Skippy. The icon put on a show as soon as the gates were flung open. And the crowd went wild as Sage kept sturdy upon the bucking beast Skippy, earning himself a whopping 87 points.

This stellar performance added to his round-one score of 86, resulting in an impressive combined total of 173 points. The caption of his post read, “87 points on Skippy today in St. Louis at the @pbr!” And further sharing an exciting update with fans, he wrote, “Now, headed to meet my family so we can fly to Vegas for the @lasvegasnfr!” This post quickly made the rounds of the internet, stirring amazement in the hearts of fans and even legends in bull riding.

The champion enthralls the bull riding community and legends

The Instagram post by Sage Kimzey quickly garnered much-deserved attention online as fans and bull riders were amused by the sheer talent of the icon. The legendary 2018 Resistol Rookie of the Year Clayton Sellars wrote, “Man is havin’ fun!”. Another comment came from Jr. Patrik Souza, a 2x PBR World Finalist, who wrote, “Good bull ride my friend,” accompanied by fire emojis.

The Carolina Cowboys PBR team commented, adding a fire emoji and a clapping emoji. Alexis Kimzey Sage Kimzey’s wife, proud of her husband, wrote, “Perfection” with a fire emoji. One fan looking forward to Kimzey making waves in Las Vegas said, “SHOW’EM HOW 🏆 CHAMP . GOD BLESS YOU IN VEGAS”.
