Jess Lockwood recently shared an intriguing Instagram reel, sparking excitement within the bull-riding community. In the video, he sat on a sofa with a Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation machine by his side, aiding in alleviating nerve pain. Lockwood expressed, “New Year’s everyone, checking in with you guys. Been going to therapy, getting better, just getting closer to ride-in-time. Got my Pulse PMF machine here, and my favourite attachment is the Cube.”

However, his caption reads, “Almost ready to be back at that @pbr cattle battle!” After recovering from injuries, Lockwood made a strong return at the 2023 PBR Unleash the Beast Series in Duluth, Georgia. He scored 88.25 points on Spotted Rust in Round 1, sharing the win. Despite being bucked off in Round 2, Lockwood’s impressive 92-point ride on I’m Legit Too during the Championship Round secured him second place overall in the event.
