Learning to ride a bull is no picnic. These bull riding stars, who have come a long way, have had tough times learning to ride on these majestic beasts. However, once learned, a cowboy can obtain the highest amount of points on any bull. Over the course of PBR’s lengthy history, some spectacular events have had multiple 90-point rides in a single event. At the recent PBR Tulsa event in Oklahoma, one amazing feat happened. In total, seven 90-point rides were delivered, and this feat immediately entered PBR record books.

To the pleasure of spectators both inside and outside the arena, these feats were executed not only by seasoned cowboys but also by promising young guns. Thanks to the incredible cowboys’ performances, all seven of these rides quickly went viral on social media.

On the first slide of the post, the official PBR Instagram featured rookie John Crimber’s image. The rest of the post was followed by videos of the seven 90-point rides. Dawson Brown got the ball rolling on the Unleash The Beast tour with a 91.25-point performance on Hunting Trip. This was also the cowboy’s career-best ride. The current world number one, Cassio Dias, rode up next. He scored a massive 90.75 points, easily defeating the two-time reigning YETI World Champion Bull, Ridin’ Solo.

The skill of relative newcomer Clay Guiton became apparent after just a few matches. The cowboy achieved a new personal best of 90.25 points while riding Bandito Bug. Another massive 91.50 points came from Dalton Kasel, who rode UTZ BesTex Smokestack after Guiton’s feat. As the rodeo night’s fifth remarkable achievement, Wingson Henrique da Silva rode Ricky Vaughn to a score of 90 points. But no one expected 18-year-old rookie John Crimber to shock the arena with a 91.50-point haul on Montana Jacket. Crimber did set a score that Joao Ricardo Vieira, the last cowboy standing, had to surpass. And the Brazilian cowboy didn’t hesitate to shake the American crowd, which expected a victory for rookie John Crimber.

Joao Ricardo Vieira’s stint at the age of 39

Although most veteran bull riders have said goodbye to the bull riding world at this point, Joao Ricardo Vieira has more riding to accomplish. The goal of winning a PBR championship has lingered for the 39-year-old cowboy ever since his maiden ride. Rookie cowboy John Crimber put on an outstanding performance in the last round of PBR Tulsa, posting a formidable challenge to the Brazilian cowboy. The minute Vieira hopped on Flyin’ Wired, he knew there was no room for error. However, the cowboy’s expertise paid off, as he surprised everyone in the ring with his performance.

As soon as the metal chutes were removed, the bull that Vieira was riding began to buck without hesitation. The Brazilian cowboy gave the bull no chance to buck him, despite the beast’s best efforts. As soon as the 8-second buzzer sounded, the cowboy hopped off the bull in a show of confidence, knowing he had done all in his power to win the PBR event. The judges gave the cowboy just the points he needed, which were 91.75. This made Vieira the PBR Tulsa champion, which is his 18th PBR event title.
