However, the intensity of the bull-riding game touched a new pinnacle, with Dawson Branton’s remarkable performance.
A 2x PBR Velocity Tour finalist, Dawson Branton, came out with flying colors in the recent Velocity Tour. The flawless performance of the top 6 average winner of the 2023 world finals in bull riding, marked a neck-to-neck competition with his fellow mates. Gloriously winning a victory over them, Dawson Branton was announced the winner. Creating another record in the history of bull riding, his name was gloriously mentioned on the PBR’s official page on Instagram.

The PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour, held at Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, is the bull riding realm’s most anticipated event. Dawson Branton stood victorious amongst 40 bull riding stars, with a perfect 3 on 3. The 2023 PBR World Finals Qualifier was announced as the vanquisher of the Velocity Tour by the PBR lately. It read, “Dawson Branton claimed the Velocity Tour event win in Youngstown, OH, with a flawless performance.”

Representing the Carolina Cowboys, he tied for Round 2 of the Boot Barn PBR, Youngstown back then and was the first to dive into the final round claiming 86.5 points. With a spectacular “Good to Go” 84 points in the final round, he walked off in victory. Apart from Dawson Branton, there was one other name who set the 3-on-3 record too. Other distinctive feats in bull riding
An 18-year-old young bull rider from Florida, Jesse Petri scored a ravishing 3-0n-3 in the PBR Velocity Tour event. The first runner-up of the event, he rode close-knit for the second after the winner, Dawson Branton. Leaping with 84.5 points in the opening round, he thundered out of the gates for an 85-point win, just before Dawson Branton took over.

The third position was grabbed by Joao Paulo Fernandes. He scored a 2-for-3 in his last and final round. Clinching the fourth place, Trace Redd marked his place with 44 points in the PBR. It was observed that Little Bit Crazy Bull won the ‘Bull of the Event’ title as well after bucking off fourth-place winner Trace Redd.
