Eight bull riding teams fought for the one victory in the 2023 season. In a world where it’s anyone’s game at any point, making a mark is simply a matter of eight seconds. The PBR Camping World Team Series is nothing but an adrenaline-soaked experience where the riders appear in teams. On a quest for team glory, they engage in various Championship stops until they reach Las Vegas for the ultimate crown. One such team had etched their name in history in 2023.
Moving past Austin Gamblers in the final bout, Texas Rattlers stood with the 2023 PBR Teams Champions title. Considering as one of the hottest teams, before defending the title in Las Vegas, the team had prevailed over in three consecutive games in the series. But as the 2024 season rung in, the men behind the stellar team get accoladed, despite them not walking on a bed of roses.

Like the team, the Coach and the General Manager of Texas Rattlers have been honored as the Coach and Executive of the Year. After their second PBR Teams World Champions victory, the win of the two Rattlers’ backbones was inevitable. Despite occasional errors, one of their most notable decision of the season was adding young gun Trace Redd to the team, only to accelerate the performance. The duo has even mindfully included Eli Vastbinder, who was later honored as the 2021 PBR Rookie of the Year. Shedding light on his career, head coach Cody Lambert said, “This job for me, at this point in my life, is a dream job. To be able to pass along what I’ve learned from the years and the miles and the mistakes that I’ve made”.
He further said, “And be able to try to pass that to the next guys so they don’t have to make the same mistakes. Winning is something that doesn’t always happen overnight, but it’s always the goal.” Besides, even the Executive of the Year had some happy notes to share.

Eight founding teams of PBR Teams had collectively decided to honor the Rattlers duo as the most deserving. Each coach from all eight teams voted for their top three favorites, excluding themselves. The Executives followed the same process as well, thus resulting in the current podium. PBR Commissioner and CEO Sean said, “Congratulations to the Rattlers and all of our teams as we head toward our third season in July”. It all depends on the team now, whether they would save our faces.
