In 2023 it was held in February and Bull Riding was won by Corey Leffew, Matt Triplett, Cole Melancon and Barrel Racing: Hailey Kinsel, Stevi Hillman and Jordon Briggs. The Kentucky Horse Park is gearing up for an exciting evening filled with bull riding, barrel racing and the soulful tunes of country music. However, dates are not scheduled as of the recent update. Recently, Kentucky Horse Park shared a post on X, and captioned it as,? The hottest show in Western sports is heading your way! BullBandBarrels returns to Lexington! Brace yourselves for a legendary night of bull riding, barrel racing, and a concert with the hottest artists Country music has to offer! Artist and date dropping 11/14!

 

The event is typically held in February at the Kentucky Horse Park Alltech Arena. ?Tickets for BullBandBarrels go on sale in the fall and typically sell out quickly.?They can be purchased online or at the Kentucky Horse Park box office.

Highlights from the 2020 bull riding

The 2020 Bulls, Bands, & Barrels (BBB) tour commenced in Lexington, KY, at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena, captivating fabull rins with a thrilling mix of bull riding, barrel racing, freestyle bullfighting, and live music on February 8th. Ross Burney claimed first place in bull riding, earning $2,500, while Knox Dunn emerged victorious in the Freestyle Bullfighting competition. Barrel racing saw Sarah Schneider securing the top spot with a time of 13.980, and the night concluded with a memorable concert by Whitey Morgan & the 78?s.

Hunter Price, the BBB Tour president, expressed excitement for the event’s success and looked forward to returning in 2021 with even greater plans.?We love kicking off the tour every year with the Lexington show,? said Hunter Price, Bulls, Bands and Barrels Tour president.? ?The fans in Lexington are absolutely fantastic and we hope to continue to bring them top level competition and entertainment time and time again.?
