Leonardo Castro Ferreira shined brightly in the bull riding arena during the final round of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) 2024 Unleash the Beast season. At the mere age of 19, PBR star Ferreira took all the spotlight at Sacramento. The rodeo star won a million hearts with his spectacular performance in the 2024 PBR UTB season. The Brazilian rookie clinched his career-first victory at the UTB Event.

With Ferreira’s victory adding to the lineup, Kansas City Outlaws has dominated this season’s Unleash the Beasts event. The victory in Sacramento allowed Ferreira to encash a humongous check amounting to $100K.

Leonardo Castro Ferreira left the fans in awe by winning his first premier series event. PBR took to its official Insta handle to celebrate the outstanding win. Along with posting multiple pictures of the rookie from the big event, they penned a triumphant note in the post. The caption reads “If you’re going to win your first-ever event, why not make it a PBR Major! Ferreira rides away with the victory in Sacramento and cashes in on the $100,000 check.”

On the other hand, Kansas City Outlaws also commemorated the triumph as its team members seized the magnificent win in Sacramento. Kansas City Outlaws shared a post from its official page of Kansas City’s blazing new Professional Bull Riding (PBR) Team.

Kansas City Outlaws shared an optimistic poster of the final result of the UTB event. The post caption reads “Your Outlaws are on fire. Our riders have won 5 out of 10 Unleash the Beast events this season – including 3 of the last 4. It’s incredible to see what #AllGritNoQuit has done for the Young Guns.”

The regaining PBR star Leonardo Castro Ferreira earned his 4-to-4 win in his first-ever UTB event. Besides that, he received a $100,000 check at the PBR Major of the 2024 season.

Ride to victory

Fellow rookie John Crimber hailing from Decatur, Texas surged to the lead. But, Ferreira, needed just a qualifying ride on his last bull to secure the triumph in the championship round on Sunday.  At the end of the event, Ferreira was the only rider who recorded a qualifying ride on each of his four bulls.

Ferreira was teamed with Blackstone earlier on Sunday, and the duo rookie scored the 86.5 points that Ferreira required to gradually move up in the event rankings. As Callum Miller had faltered, Ferreira ended up earning $119,950 and 220 Unleash The Beast points. His rankings peaked from 47 to 10 in the world standings.

Kansas City Outlaws’s rookie Ferreira got the second rank going into the final round, establishing himself as an indomitable phenomenon.
