Notably, his impressive feat of securing a minimum of nine matchups in 2013 and a remarkable streak of sixteen consecutive bull rides placed him among the sport’s elite, etching his name alongside the very best in its storied history.

During this peak season of NFR, Dale Brisby engaged in a conversation with a young bull rider. The conversation took an interesting turn when the rider offered a sarcastic comment, weighing heavily on JB Mauney.

Recently on Instagram, Brisby shared an intriguing post featuring a conversation with a young bull rider. When asked about JB Mauney, the Ky Hamilton humorously replied, ‘I thought by the time I got into the PBR, he’d be gone. So, getting to share a locker room with him at his first NFR was bad a**! I mean, I was like, ‘Hell yeah, I’m getting to hang out with JB Mauney!’ And then, it just kept happening for the last several years. But honestly, that in itself was one of the coolest things ever.’

After that, the video transitioned to the farms where JB Mauney was also present. Brisby, again turning to Ky, asked, ‘Ky, you mentioned wanting to take back some of the nice things you said about JB.’ Ky’s response was undeniably savage, ‘JB, all of them.’

The fun grew even more as the flip-flop discussion became more personal and Mauney’s foot injuries gave him a rare reason not to utilize his usual flip-flops.
