In the annual bull riding categories, the men of the dust-covered ground sport recently collected their annual honors. The current champion, who splits the glory with his bulls, overthrew a straight nine-time champion with a cumulative of 12 wins. In addition, riding the best bulls year round earned him the third spot in the YETI World Champion Bull race. Although he has been riding for many years, sometimes the success in niche sports could take time to shine on.

Soaking in his victory moment, the bull rider recently opened up about his values, the passion for the sport, and much more in a social media update. Stock contractors are just as pivotal to the rodeo ecosystem as much as the athletes themselves, and he exemplified it for his viewers.

The video captured Sharp’s routine with his bulls, as the dual champions went about with their daily schedule; “If you can do what you love, there’s nothing like it,” he said with a smile. “Being on the road, you want to have all the equipment’s, you don’t wanna break down,” he added while driving his vehicle around.

UTZ BesTex journey to St. Louis, where Legend scored 46.75 points, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he scored 46.5 points and won the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event, were among Legend’s noteworthy performances. Legend only rode twice in 2023, but he always scored well—he scored more than 45 points five times. With nostalgia, Sharp considers Legend’s incredible journey, while also noting the reigning legend he surpassed this year.

For as long as the bull riding community can recall, Chad Berger has collected the prestigious Stock Contractor of the Year awards. Considering the legendary rider he won over, Sharp said, “I definitely respect Chad, and I’ve always looked up to him.”

Accepting his moment, he added, “With God, anything is possible, that’s for sure. That’s my go-to saying. If you just believe, you can achieve.”
