2022 was the high point in the history of bull riding for Daylon Swearingen with remarkable wins that deserve adulation. He ended up scooping the 2022 PBR world championship; this marked just how good he was in the game. However, the arrival of the year 2023 presented a far-contrasted image for Swearingen from the euphoria that they experienced in victory to the tough terrain of difficulties.

Just last year, Swearingen was dealing with a chronic groin injury that he had to take a break for treatment. Nonetheless, upon his return to the ring in New York City, he faced adversity, suffering a really terrible mishap, pulling all the muscle off his pelvic bone and had an operation at the break of the month of January. The champion was never ignored by the PBR and showed true grit.
