Vitor Jose Leme is a renowned bull rider. The 27-year-old Brazilian has achieved tremendous success after coming to the U.S.A. in 2017. An amateur footballer earlier, Vitor has found his true calling in bull riding and eventually reaped the rewards. Leme was named the Rookie of the Year in the same year as his PBR debut in 2017.

Jose Vitor Leme is a well-known and respected name in the bull-riding community. The 2x World Champion is closing on a legendary status with the 2nd most 90-point rides ever. In the latest update, PBR posted an exhilarating ride of Leme from the 2017 PBR World Finals event.

After a phenomenal debut year in 2017, Jose Vitor Leme’s career graph has only gone upwards. Leme was ranked 2nd in 2018 and 2019, earning a whopping $535,175 and $642, 516 respectively. He later went on to finally get his hands on the biggest prize, World Championship, and that too, twice.

The PBR posted a throwback video on Instagram of Leme’s final ride at the 2017 PBR World Finals. “These are the moments that dreams are made of.”, the caption read. As Leme completes his exhilarating 8-second ride on the bucking bull, he quickly jumps in joy, pumping his hands into the sky.

The remarkable thing about this ride is that it was the maiden event of Vitor Leme on American soil. The Brazilian arrived in America for the first time in 2017, and in the same year, he not only won the PBR World Finals in Vegas but was also declared the Rookie of the Year. Just 21 years of age at that time, Leme would go on to achieve phenomenal success in the coming years.

Leme is a bull-riding phenomenon

Leme has scored over 85 90-point rides in his career, with all of them coming at the biggest stages. He now ranks as the second on the list of most 90-point rides. The 27-year-old was an amateur footballer. However, he soon switched to bull riding and started his PBR career in 2017.

Leme finished the 7th in World rankings in 2017 and was awarded the Rookie of the Year in the same year. Getting better with experience, Leme went on to win back-to-back world championships in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
