The Professional Bull Riders League is one of the most prestigious organizations in the bull-riding sport. Each year, a number of bull riders receive international attention playing this league. On similar lines, a roomie Oklahoma rider has compelled the world to admire his talent this time.

This rookie is Caden Bunch, a 20-year-old rider, who has just come out of high school. Bunch shone bright at the PBR’s newly launched event, and clinched his career-first Premier Series win.

Rookie Caden Bunch secures maiden Premier Series victory

Caden Bunch is a boy to watch out for. He has been phenomenal in his high school career and has been ranked as the No. Bull rider. However, the PBR Championships are a real test of a rider’s caliber and Oklahoma Cowboy has surely cleared that. He shone and shone brightly at the 2024 PBR Unleash The Beast event.

As soon as Bunch finished his impeccable performance, he threw his hat in the ring in absolute joy. He became one of the only six contenders to secure a 3-for-3 weekend victory, winning his maiden premier series. Bunch needed an 89-point ride to secure the title. As the 8-second buzzer rang and his score of 89.25 was announced, the whole arena erupted in joy and so did Caden Bunch.

Caden Bunch rides for Oklahoma Freedom, which will be moving to Florida next year. Bunch was part of Oklahoma’s team for the 2023 PBF Camping World Team Series and produced a phenomenal performance. He knocked down 64% of his rides for the team. As good as he has been in PBR so far, his talent was already regarded highly owing to his stellar high school career.

Caden Bunch destined for bull-riding greatness

The PBR brilliance of Caden Bunch is no surprise. He has been phenomenal in his high school career and is rightly proving his talent on the biggest stage. He has won the State and National Championship as a freshman in bull riding. Bunch won four out of ten events last year and was ranked as the No.1 Bull rider.

The 20-year-old’s rise started after winning the $10,000 purse in a local event. In May 2023, he went on to win the Stillwell Strawberry Festival bull riding event, setting the record high score of 91. From high school success to the maiden PBR premier series win, Bunch has surely made himself proud. Bull-riding fans will be excited for this talented prospect and will hope for more of such exhilarating performances in the future.
