The Mexican-born young boxer Yoseline Perez penned her experiences and teachings. She started by apologizing to her younger self for being so harsh. She started boxing at the tender age of 10 and ever since then, she worked hard and never stopped. She played her debut match in 2017 when she was just 13. So far, she has played 34 doubts and has received a winning streak in 31. That’s a very big achievement.
In her letter, she consoles her younger self by trusting in God’s plan. If she had not struggled in her younger years, then it would not have been possible for her to attain the place where she is now. She feels proud of herself. Her biggest motivator is her mother. Initially, her family was against her passion for boxing, but with time they understood her inclination toward the sport. She writes, “Everything is going according to God?s plan, as Mom always said, ?Dios siempre esta contigo.? And she is right, the number of blessings in our lives is never-ending.”
