Brian Johnson, a.k.a. the Liver King, has built up his entire image, projecting himself as a modern-day caveman. He claims to have built his physique by adapting ways the ancestors used to eat- raw and natural. He also claimed to have never consumed any steroids and strongly discourages their use.
Fans support the Liver King despite the Exposé
On 29 November 2022, content creator Derek, who runs the YouTube channel “More Plates More Dates” posted a video exposing Johnson. The hour-long video was titled “The Liver King Lie.” Within two days, the video has accumulated more than 1.8M views. In the video, he shared details and “proofs” that state that the Liver king consumes $12k worth of steroids every month.
The leak has left the fitness world divided. While some were shocked by the news, many claim they saw it coming. However, amidst the whole controversy, there are a few who still choose to stand by the fitness influencer. Some of those loyal fans reached out to the star through the comment section of his latest Instagram post.
A supporter commented, “Still here for you. You’ve inspired my eating disorder recovery.” Another wrote, “I support you and think you are a great positive force in the world. Thank you.”
A third fan wrote, “HGH isn’t steroids. I’m not exactly “SHOCKED” he was taking HGH though.” Some also shared the view that though they knew about the consumption before the leak, they still chose to support the king. Below are fans’ reactions on Twitter who came out in support of the Liver King.
The hate on him is so petty. No one followed him thinking if they take his supplements they will look like him. #LiverKing promotes how to live a healthier and more active lifestyle away from 📱@BioLayne post your phone screen time for this week. Help prove my point I’m making.

I've been following him with the presumption he's on steroids and I still love getting inspired by his habits to become a better version of myself.

Most dudes could take 2x Liver King’s PED list
Still be built like Pete Davidson because they don’t work and aren’t consistent.
Facts. Don’t @ me.

Lol regardless he motivated a lot of people to change their habits and become a healthier version of themselves in the process, not a bad thing bc he didn't hurt anyone with what he shared in lifting heavy weights and eating a certain way

The worst part of Liver King getting exposed for steroids is that normies will discredit his physique and attribute it to 10k a month of HGH
In reality he trained like a mad man (twice a day) and walked 10 miles a day
99.9% of people wouldn’t look like him even with roids

The Backslash and the mockery
While some were shocked by the revelation, most of the audience was prepared for it. They used this opportunity to ridicule the believers. People took to Twitter to share their stand on the matter. While some were offended and called out the star, most just mocked the whole situation.
Indicating how obvious the consumption was a user tweeted, “If you are surprised by the news about the liver king, you should lose your right to vote.” Mocking the ones who didn’t see it coming, another one wrote, “Why are people talking about the liver king being on steroids? Of course he’s on steroids and anyone who believed otherwise is an idiot.”

People shocked about LIVERKING shit is wild 😂. Also, isn’t that illegal af to put someone’s health/medicinal information out into the public?

I wasn’t really offended by the Liver King reveal(it was obvious).
What’s more offensive is apparently his max deadlift is 455
