‘The summer body’ is an evergreen fad when it comes to exercise and fitness. There are millions of vlogs, blogs, posts on social media, and whatnot, all dedicated to teaching people how they can attain a perfect summer body. However, according to Levy, who is the editor-in-chief of Muscle and Health magazine, the whole concept of a summer body stems from a defeatist attitude. If one really wants to be healthy, a summer body should not be the ultimate goal.

While posting her ripped biceps and toned abs on her Instagram, Lavy included the caption, “If you’re “getting in shape (just) for summer” you’ve already lost @violatethedresscode keeping my summer body dressed all year round 🫶🏻#summerbody #summerbodygoals #gymgoals #fitnessmotivation”. The caption clearly speaks of her mindset, only year-round hard work and dedication can result in fitness.

A fan commented, “Year round body! All circumstances body! That’s you 🥰❤️💫”. Another one wrote, “Learning from the best my friend. 😀💪🙏”. The concept of a summer body is not the only trend that Levy has spoken against.

Levy elaborated on the importance of exercise

Humans always have the inclination to find the easiest way out of any situation. Getting in shape is no exception to this rule. Plenty of shortcuts are advertised on all possible platforms. These range from strange diets to medicines and many more. Nonetheless, for Levy, eating healthy and exercising is the only solution. In another Instagram post, she showed off her toned stomach just two months after the birth of her baby. She wrote, “❌ No waist trainer gimmicks ❌ No harsh diets ✔️ Just consistent training🤰 Two months postpartum”.
