Taking photos and creating videos for social media uploads has been a trend lately. The influencers like to make inspiring, funny, knowledgeable, and several other kinds of videos in the gym. However, sometimes it might hinder someone else’s privacy. Something similar happened in the video that Swoll reacted to. In the video that Swoll tweeted, a young man threatens another person in the locker room because he opposed him. Why did he oppose him? He opposed him because he didn’t want to be involved in the video he was making. But despite his disapproval, the guy said, ‘I don’t care’ and continued filming.
People have the right to privacy in a gym locker room. Stop this nonsense. #MYOB pic.twitter.com/b3whRgI8X4

However, the behavior of the young guy made Swoll furious, and he decided to respond against this behavior in his video. While telling people about the alternate option, Swoll said, “This is getting ridiculous. I am going to assume that if you have money for a gym membership, if you have money for a smartphone, that you have one of these (pointing towards the bathroom and mirrors). It’s called a bathroom at home, coming equipped with a mirror where you can take as many selfies, as many videos of yourself flexing as you want with no one around. There is a reason it says all over the walls in the locker room at the gym, ‘no filming, no recording’.”

Further, Swoll claimed the activity to be illegal and expressed his view that some people don’t belong in the gym. He continued, “People have what’s called the expectation of privacy and the right to say they don’t want to be in your video. Actually, if you do film somebody in a locker room, it’s illegal. The fact that you wanna threaten that man because he doesn’t want to be in your video tells me that you don’t belong in the gym. You need to do better. Mind your own business.”
What did the bodybuilding fans say about the video? Let’s find out.

Thank you, @TheJoeySwoll!
Do. Not. Record. In. Locker. Rooms!
People are showering, using the restroom, entering and exiting saunas, changing clothes. Many gyms actually PROHIBIT photography or filming in locker rooms!
Honestly, this guy should get his gym membership revoked. https://t.co/ODtPfucfWy
