The bodybuilder also steps into the shoes of an actor sometimes. In 2018, Kai played the villain’s role in a martial arts film, Crazy Fist. Before that, in 2017, he played the role of Funshine in Netflix’s highly-watched sci-fi series, Stranger Things Season 2.

He made headlines when he did not appear in Mr. Olympia 2019, as he was shooting an Indian action-thriller film, Pogaru, scheduled to release in 2020.
