For many, appearing in the WWE is a dream, a dream that only some of them can fulfill. As a lifelong fan of the business, one can resonate when they step inside the ring. Arnold Schwarzenegger had his dreams come true when he took his place in the center of the ring with his Sabotage co-star Joe Manganiello and WWE icon Hulk Hogan to guest host an episode of Raw in 2014.

 

After that, Renee Young asked Arnold about his experience as he burned some words. Young wanted to understand how Arnold felt, and he replied gleefully.

Arnold Schwarzenegger loves WWE

Since he was a young kid, Arnold loved pro wrestling and discussed stepping inside the WWE ring. “Well first of all, for me, it was heaven. And the reason is because I have been a big fan of wrestling for a long time when I was 19 years old,” mentioned Arnold. He discussed owning a gym for pro wrestlers in Munich, who would come there and hone their skills.

Moreover, he gave his respects to Bruno Sammartino, who judged him at the Mr. Olympia competition. Arnold inducted the legendary wrestler into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. With Hulk Hogan by his side during the interview, Schwarzenegger loved his muscles and what he meant to the pro wrestling business.

Arnold explained how a WWE superstar should become a gymnast, a bodybuilder, and a wrestler combined. He admired Hulk Hogan for his value to the business and gave acknowledgment to the wrestler. Likewise, he shares a great friendship with Vince McMahon. In fact, Arnold knew how Triple H would take over the operations after Vince McMahon retired.

Triple H takes over the reins!

Years passed as Vince McMahon ran the business to unprecedented heights, attaining the fans globally and building an empire. He took WWE to a global level, and everyone loved the product. The time arrived when to retire, as Arnold once predicted, Triple H to take over the creative side of the company. “One day, Vince will retire, then Triple H is going to take over,” said Arnold.

The prophecy came true. Triple H took over the company after McMahon announced his retirement from the business. It is great to see him passing his role to his son-in-law as he had proved his mettle with WWE developmental brand NXT. Hence, times have changed for the business, and with Arnold’s friendship with the Game, he would probably come back for a visit, in the future.
