Bodybuilding legend Ronnie Coleman was huge during his bodybuilding days. Coleman was the heaviest among the biggest ‘mass monsters’ of his era. While past Mr. Olympia, title holders like Arnold Schwarzenegger were taller, no one had Ronnie’s muscle mass. It took over a decade for another Mr. Olympia, Big Rammy, to surpass Ronnie’s weight, though not by much. However, even the massive Ronnie Coleman looked tiny beside former WWE star, The Great Khali.

The pair met when Ronnie visited India in 2016. A rare video shows just how much smaller the former Mr. Olympia looks than the Indian.
Making Ronnie Coleman look small
In 2016, the eight-time Mr. Olympia visited Pune, India. Khali and Ronnie attended a press conference that took place at the Gravity Gym. In the video, Ronnie is sitting in the middle, with the Great Khali to his left. The disparity between the legends is huge. It’s not surprising that Khali, who is more than a foot taller than ‘Big Ron’ dwarfs the man beside him. However, even the American’s jacked arms are smaller than Khali’s.

An argument that in 2016, Ronnie was not nearly as big as in his pro bodybuilding days could be made. By 2016, the King had also gone through multiple surgeries as well. However, The Great Khali wasn’t in his best shape either. The former WWE champion was in his physical prime during the mid-2000s, which were the twilight years of Coleman’s legendary career.
Congratulations to soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer, #India’s very own, The Great Khali.

Ronnie Coleman’s biggest contest weight was 300 lbs, while the King tipped the scales at around 330 lbs during the off-season. In comparison, the former WWE champion weighed around 420 lbs. Khali is also much taller than the former bodybuilder. The WWE star stands 7’3 Ft tall, while ‘Big Ron’ is 5’11 Ft tall.

Interestingly, in the same video, The Great Khali said that he too had started bodybuilding but found a better opportunity in wrestling. One can only imagine how a battle between Ronnie Coleman and The Great Khali would’ve played out on the bodybuilding stage.
Two legends with a curious similarity
In a truly curious case of coincidence, it turns out that both Coleman and the Khali worked as cops before embarking on their respective careers. Khali joined the Punjab police in 1993 and held the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI). Ronnie joined the Arlington, Texas police department in 1989 and served actively till 2000.
