When Lisa Lyon won the first-ever IFBB Women’s World Pro Bodybuilding Championship in 1979, Schwarzenegger gave her a visit. The two celebrated bodybuilders were photographed together sometime after her famous win.

The picture features one athlete carrying the other on their shoulder. Although people unfamiliar with the rare photo may visualize the Austrian Oak carrying Lyon on his shoulders, it was actually the other way around.

Lyon smiled at the camera as Schwarzenegger balanced himself on her shoulders, exhibiting the front double biceps pose in the photo. Moreover, the female bodybuilder lifts some additional weight with her shoulders.

It is an exceptional feat for the bodybuilder as the former Mr. Olympia weighed between 225 lb and 235 lb at the time. The picture features both athletes smiling. Lyon can be seen balancing Arnie on her shoulders effortlessly.

After her victory, she became a role model for other aspiring female bodybuilders. She also went into a career in modeling, featuring in prominent magazines. Lyon also tried her luck in action movies, featuring in movies like Three Crowns of the Sailor, Getting Physical, and Vamp.
