Arnold Schwarzenegger Once Expressed His Joy, as LeBron James Surpassed “Cheap” 7 ft Lakers Legend: “I’m Proud of You”

Schwarzenegger and James have had each other’s back for a long time now. In 2018, when LeBron was about to participate in the NBA all-star game, he announced that all the profit from this would go to Arnold’s non-profit organization. Founded in 2002, Arnold’s organization helps kids with low-income backgrounds to study.

In 2018, when James moved to fifth place on the all-time scoring list in NBA, Arnold Schwarzenegger took to his Twitter account and congratulated James. He wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations to @KingJames on passing Wilt for fifth on the all-time scoring list. What a champion. I’m proud of you.”

During a game against Portland Trail Blazers, James needed to score 39 points, and he finished with 44. This made the Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron move to the fifth position on the NBA’s scoring list. He left the Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain behind him.

And after some time, he moved one place up and left Michael Jordan behind with the fourth position. In 2022, LeBron broke more records and surpassed Karl Malone. Now James stands at the second position on NBA’s all-time scoring list. 

Talking about Wilt Chamberlain, he was also a good friend of Arnold. Once sharing the memory of Wilt, Arnold recalls how he went to dinner with his friend Wilt and Andre the Giant. And according to Arnold, Andre never hesitates when paying the bill. But Wilt, at the same time, thinks a thousand times before paying the bill. That is why Arnold calls him cheap in a sarcastic way.

James and Arnold’s bond

Arnold and James have a strong bond. Arnold and James owned a company together named ‘Ladder.’ It is a company that provides high-quality supplements.

During a Men’s Health interview, LeBron said, “The idea is not to overwhelm people with these huge cans of protein, stuff they didn’t know what to do with, how many scoops to put in.”
