While the Egyptian may win this year, newcomer Andrew Jacked made a bold prediction regarding next year’s Mr. Olympia.

Andrew has made waves this year with his performances. A relatively unknown face at the start of the year, Andrew is now the Arnold Classic UK champion. The rising star sat down with eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman for an interview. During the interview, Andrew explained his prediction.

Andrew Jacked set his sights on Big Ramy

With less than a week remaining for Mr. Olympia 2022, Ronnie Coleman sat down with Andrew Jacked for an exclusive interview. The bodybuilding icon published the video on his YouTube channel. When Ronnie asked Andrew about his biggest competition, Andrew spoke of Elssbiay. “If Ramy tries to compete next year, I’ll be so happy,” Andrew told Coleman.

The rising contender is also thinking of the future. “Honestly, next year, when I’m coming… I think everyone will be fighting for second place,” said Andrew. Andrew thinks he’ll crack the top 10 this year. However, the Arnold Classic UK winner is confident he’ll beat the reigning champion next year.

 

The eight-time Mr. Olympia also asked how Andrew thinks he compares to Elssbiay. “He’s (Ramy) a force to reckon (with),” answered Andrew. The debutant also revealed he and Elssbiay train in the same gym in Dubai. The bodybuilder didn’t hesitate to praise Ramy. Andrew said the reigning champion is “Something else. He’s an animal,”

During the interview, Andrew also revealed his mindset going into this year’s Mr. Olympia. While he plans to dethrone Ramy in 2023, Andrew wants to have some fun this year.

The most talented rookie?

Andrew Jacked made waves when he burst onto the bodybuilding scene at the beginning of 2022. Training under legendary bodybuilder Flex Wheeler, Andrew won the Amateur Arnold Classic title in March of this year. Later in the year, he shook up the pro landscape, earning gold at the 2022 Texas Pro show. However, the debutant’s most significant win was the 2022 Arnold Classic UK.

In the UK, Andrew defeated seasoned pro bodybuilders like James Hollingshead and Patrick Johnson. Before closing the interview, Ronnie praised Andrew. The former Mr. Olympia said the debutant has the talent to become Mr. Olympia. However, it may take him a few years.
