The other set of parents wants their children to understand the hardships of life in how they attained those success levels. It is a fine line to walk on, and Arnold put a lot of thought into buying cars for his children.

Conflicts in mind for Arnold Schwarzenegger
For a young teenager, comparisons can make or break a person. If one person gets a fancy car, probably they want the same. But, Arnold had a different approach. He bought them cars but not luxurious convertible ones. Teaching them the values of becoming responsible was the crucial target, and he explained the reasons for getting them their automobiles. “It’s very tough, because you didn’t have anything, and they have everything,” said Arnold.

Growing up, Arnold had humble beginnings. He lived in a tiny village of Thal, outside Graz, Austria. His father, Gustav Schwarzenegger, was the local police chief and lived above the police station. Arnold lived a tough life and did not have indoor plumbing until he became a teenager. From there, he worked to the top and became a successful bodybuilder, an action hero legend, an able governor, and a shrewd investor. Thus, Arnold wondered if his kids deserved the same luxurious items. He had a unique way of parenting!

As for Arnold, he owned a wide variety of automobiles. Some collections include Tesla Roadster, Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, Hummer H1, Custom Audi R8, Bentley Arnage, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster, Bentley Continent GT, Bugatti Veyron, and even M47 Patton Tank. Hardly anyone can boast of a car collection like his.

With his solid car collection, his kids would want to own probably most of it. But, Arnold wants his children to have a taste of the hardships that came out of these cars. Hence, one can say he has the perfect parenting model for his kids.
