The bodybuilding icon Mamdouh Elssbiay, or Big Ramy, as he is popularly known shared in an interview in 2017 how he shocked his sponsor with a hard-to-believe two-month transformation.

Big Ramy is the 2020 and 2021 reigning and defending Mr. Olympia bodybuilding champion. He is from a very humble background. He moved to Kuwait from Egypt later, where he found solace at a gym and started training hard.

Big Ramy’s insane transformed that shook many

Big Ramy, in an interview in 2017, shared how he went away for preparation after meeting his sponsor. When he came back two months later, his sponsor was not even able to recognize him. The sponsor was like shocked to see Ramy’s transformation in such a short span of time. While sharing the sponsor’s reaction, he said, “After two months I come back to him. He said, who are you? I am Ramy, I come to you before two months.”

Ramy’s sponsor was in a complete state of awe after seeing him. Surprised, the sponsor immediately said you can win, you can do it.

Ramy shares how his sponsor’s confidence went up to the next level seeing Ramy in that shape. The sponsor says, “You can!”

Big Ramy started his journey in Kuwait!

Back in 2010, Big Ramy used to train at the Oxygen Gym in Kuwait. He always wanted to become a professional bodybuilder and hence, when he heard that many famous bodybuilders come to Oxygen Gym in Kuwait, he decided he just has to be there. After that, there was no stopping him.

Ramy still remembers this funny incident, and it keeps him motivated for all the upcoming competitions. It would be interesting to see how the reigning Mr. Olympia champion performs in the upcoming competitions.
