Lou Ferrigno spoke in favor of Trump 

Before Donald Trump appointed Lou to his Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition, the retired bodybuilder had a lot to share. Speaking with Daily Mail in 2017, he revealed that he knew Trump from his days on “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Speaking about politics, the veteran had a clear answer. He said, “It is hard to be in politics.”

As he went on to say, “Trump is a great president.” He had his reasons ready. The former Incredible Hulk added, “I feel safe with him when it comes to homeland security for our people.” The actor also expressed happiness about being the Potus’ “top choice” for the coveted post. Impressed by his administrative capabilities, the ex-bodybuilder clarified that he does not “care what anybody says.”

Initially, ex-California Governor Arnold extended his support to Trump and urged the public to show him their support. However, an upsetting turn of events prompted Arnold to say, “President Trump is a failed leader.”

What Prompted Arnold Schwarzenegger to say so?

Back in 2021, the world gasped in horror after the occurring at Capitol Hill. The ex-Governor could not hold back his views on Trump. Coming down heavily on the administration, the retired bodybuilder expressed his displeasure over the occurrence.

Setting aside the political ideologies, The Terminator star urged his fellow nationals to unite. Though Arnie took no name, he did say that many from his part had exhibited “spinelessness.” Sharing his experience, the bodybuilder-turned-actor highlighted the importance of democracy.
