Bumstead also revealed that he’ll be switching his coach next year. “And next year I think I’m going to start even earlier, working with a new coach who wants me to be ahead and more ahead of time. So I started 20 weeks ago but the typical time is 16 to 12-week prep, and through that, it gradually gets more and more intense,” he added.
