The legendary bodybuilders of the golden era spend most of their time, pulling and pushing themselves for the competitions. Similarly, the six-time Mr. Olympia conqueror Dorian Yates has spent his entire career pumping in the gym for extreme weight lifting. From time to time, he has shared his wisdom on the amount of experience the body needs. 

However, his body measurements increased significantly after lots of pumping muscles. Following this, once Joe Rogan took a dig at Dorian during his podcast.

Joe Rogan’s sarcastic remark for Dorian Yates 

On the podcast, Joe once sat with Yates for a chat to talk about several things including his fruitful career till his retirement from bodybuilding. In between the conversation, Dorian discussed his unusual suit fit. Listening to him, Joe replied sarcastically, “I’m sure if they looked at the measurements on paper, they’re like, what the f**k is it suit for.”

Meanwhile, Yates added, “What is this? I was like this wide going-on wardrobe. What is it, you know, so yeah? I look on the other side of it, you know, young guys coming up, maybe they think that’s strange like and asked me don’t you do look at the pictures back and think, wow look like that I’m like no I don’t look at.”

Further, Dorian also added, “Like this a little bit sometimes when I look at those black and white pictures giant pictures of Dorian Yates and his if you’ve got any of those black and white pictures of man and that’s just like saying there it is that’s like you couldn’t really fit any more muscle onto that frame.” Looking back at Dorian’s incredible career proves the importance of a healthy diet, and required exercise is essential.

Yates’ habits caused him injuries?

Dorian Yates would exercise until he turned utterly worn out. Once Yates addressed the one thing he would like to change about himself if he could travel through time. That one thing is his habit of doing extreme workouts during his bodybuilding career.

In addition, he used to cut off his calorie before performing in any competition. According to Dorian, low body fat, dehydration, sleep deprivation, and anti-estrogen medications raise the risk of injury.
