Pulling pranks is an art. One must be subtly silent, be convincing, and stick to their guts of not laughing whatever may happen. Not an easy thing to do but actors pull it off with ease. Former bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger was a master of the dark arts of pranks. He knew how to pull pranks and did it in Gold’s Gym and Madame Tussauds. However, he gets on the receiving end of it during some moments. The story with his friend DeVito is hilarious.

Twins co-star Danny DeVito pulled off an epic prank that received raucous laughs. But if he did that prank on a James Cameron movie set, the scenario would be different. Schwarzenegger recalled the time he did a prank. Thankfully for him, Ivan Reitman sat in the director’s chair.
Arnold Schwarzenegger gets pranked by DeVito
The prank happened on the sets of Twins. Both Schwarzenegger and DeVito had great chemistry with each other. Danny loved to mess with Arnold and always joked with him. They made pasta for each other and smoked cigars during lunch. At one moment, while smoking cigars, DeVito put some marijuana into his cigar, and Arnold could not control his alter ego. He went utterly blank.
Acting in various movies throughout his career, Arnold mastered the way of memorizing his lines. However, that day proved complicated for the Austrian Oak as he stood blank in front of the cameras. Time is an essential commodity on a film set. The more days it takes, the budget creeps up. Adding production costs is not a suitable plot for any movie producer, as Arnold knew James Cameron was not a man to mess with.
“We were lucky this was on Ivan’s movie because if this ever happened on a Jim Cameron film. We would have been in real trouble,” mentioned Arnold, who knew Cameron’s work ethic. After some time, he memorized the script lines and shot the film.
Cameron, the great!
What are the odds of a director involving in various aspects of the movie? They appear to be serious gentlemen. Behind those intuitive eyes, Cameron’s work ethic sets him apart. He knew to edit, compose, and even make up. A jack of all trades, his reply to why he does this is awe-inspiring.

“I always do makeup touch-ups myself, especially for blood, wounds, and dirt. It saves so much time,” said Cameron. Now imagine Arnold and DeVito pulling a prank on the sets of Cameron. It would not paint a pretty picture. To sum up, this sets him apart from the rest of the directors.
