The seven-time Mr. Olympia title winner Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for his ultimate success in Hollywood. But, just like his movies, his love life has also attracted much attention. In 2011, his split up with his wife Maria Shriver after 25 years of marriage caused chaos. Their split up also caused difficulties for their kids. 

Once, the eldest daughter of Arnold and Maria, Katherine Schwarzenegger, revealed how the family managed during their split.

During an interview with The Talk, Katherine appreciated her parent’s efforts after splitting up. She stated, “My parents were very, very big on making sure that we remained a family unit no matter what happened, and they did a really good job at that.”

Talking about the bonding of family, Katherine added, “We’ve remained very, very normal, and we just have a lot of love for each other. We’re overly obsessed with each other they did a great job, both my parents maintaining our family unit.”

In several interviews, Schwarzenegger has revealed how he felt awful for ruining the perfect family. In addition, he even apologized to Maria for his affair with their housekeeper, Mildred Baena. The chaotic affair altered many lives, including his two daughters and sons, Maria and Joseph Baena. However, his eldest daughter, Katherine, understood the problem and saw the situation differently.

Joseph Baena has shared a glimpse of Arnold as a father and described him as, a caring one. He is following in his father’s footsteps closely. He shares many similarities with Schwarzenegger, like his facial features and physique. Meanwhile, his eldest daughter, Katherine, married millionaire actor Chris Pratt. Since then, she has been busy parenting her two daughters, Lyla and Eloise. She is also known for her books like Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who’s Been There and Back.

On the other hand, Christina Schwarzenegger has worked on a Netflix documentary named Take Your Pills. Similarly, his son Patrick has also done a Netflix project named Moxie. Arnold’s youngest son, Christopher Schwarzenegger, graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020.
