The sport of bodybuilding is primarily practiced for the aesthetic display of physique rather than pushing their strength limits, as is in weightlifting. However, it still necessitates the athletes to perform resistance exercises to desirably shape the body. Hence, with age, the efficiency of the drills decreases due to declining physical capacities. Yet, this bodybuilding mama is here to stun with her shredded physique even at the age of 49. 

In one of her TikTok videos, Lina, a fitness coach, and an influencer recently took her fans by surprise after she put together a before-after snippet. She is the mother of a 20-year-old and has gained significant recognition from the internet of late. The reason being her impressive hourglass frame at such an age. Here’s what the video unveiled.

As per the social media update, the 49-year-old coach got on with the trending edits on the platform and posted a jaw-dropping video of herself with her daughter. The catch of the video was that she issued a comparison of her younger self to that of the present. Interestingly, the past bit featured her with her toddler kid who has now grown into an adult. However, Lina seemed to have not aged at all. 

“Show yourself as a young mom vs Now,” the video teased. The “Now” instance showcased the mother-daughter duo with their present ages captioned on top of it. “49, 20.” Even though her daughter appeared all grown up, Lina’s age-less look was amazing.

Other videos of the influencer mostly displayed her at the gym, sweating it out with her staggering proportions. Significantly, maintaining a fine physique with declining age is praise-worthy. Moreover, there are many other moms who have embarked on their fitness escapades despite social limitations.

Bodybuilder and parent, Laura Beesley once opened up on the inspirational journey that led her to the sport. Her biggest motivation is her eldest son, Logan. He is a specially-abled child supported by a wheelchair, needing constant care and attention. Besides that, she also has two more kids to look after while her firefighter husband, Mike was away. 

Thus, Beesley used the sport as a coping mechanism for her daily struggles. She spoke in an interview with Edinburgh Live, “I had to give up my job as a PT to focus on bodybuilding. My oldest son is in a wheelchair and he can be physically demanding. It helps me to deal with stress, you need something to focus on. The gym helps me mentally.” She had served as a military veteran in the past. However, the family burden diverted her focus from physical fitness completely.
