Lou Ferrigno calls Stan Lee his second father
The Incredible Hulk talked about his relationship with the comic book writer. He had always been grateful to Stan Lee for trusting him to play the role of Hulk. While he spoke about how much the comic book writer meant to him, the star exclaimed, “It makes me very emotional because he was like a second father to me”. The Hulk was an extremely special movie, and it came to life only because of the creator.
Stan Lee acted as Lou’s mentor for the movie. He was also a great friend of the actor. The former bodybuilder also mentioned often how Stan Lee was the reason why his life took a turn for the better. He has always been incredibly grateful to the comic book king.

Stan Lee was also called the cameo king of his movies. The Marvel Cinematic Universe, where Stan Lee’s superheroes assembled together in different movies, saw appearances of the genius in hilarious roles. Lee would often play the role of various side characters to entertain the audience.
In an Instagram post from 2021, Lou once again recalled his memories with Stan Lee. Calling him the “best cameo partner ever”, the star expressed how much he missed him. The universe that Stan Lee crafted left a huge impact on the masses. While his legacy is still alive, stars like Lou Ferrigno will always be grateful for his contribution to cinema.
