Nowadays, gyms and fitness centers have become all about training. At times gym goers record the session and then carry on with their lives. The playful atmosphere of working out together is getting lost by the day. However, with his little healthy pranks, Ukrainian bodybuilder Vladimir Shmondenko has decided to bring the lively atmosphere back to the gym. The internet sensation goes around crashing people’s training sessions and leaves them with a smile on their faces. The little price for that smile is the bewilderment that precedes.

Recently, Shmondenko pranked a young girl in the gym. Dressed as a cleaner, he left her stunned by the display of his strength. Little did the girl know, hiding behind the facade was an elite powerlifter and prankster. So what exactly did he do this time?

Vladimir Shmondenko – The gym cleaner

Vladimir Shmondenko is famous among his 3.2M followers on Instagram for his gym pranks. Sometimes as a rookie gym-goer, other times as a gym cleaner, Mr. Anatoly leaves his targets stunned by his sheer show of strength. In his recent prank, the elite powerlifter dressed up like a cleaner but claimed to be a trainer. He posted the video on his Instagram account with the caption, “I’m like trainer here 🙃”

In the video, Shmondenko approached a girl in the gym by asking for permission to clean the machine she was working on. As the girl stepped aside for him to clean, the prankster started making small talk. He then introduced himself and said, “I’m like trainer here…I look like cleaner but…” As the girl did not believe him, he went ahead and used the bar of the machine to climb an invisible staircase. He also did some pull-ups. Both the exercises displayed his core strength and left the girl stunned.

While casually walking off, he reminded the girl she could call him anytime if she needed a trainer. As the post was shared, the target of his prank commented, “Hahaha I was so shocked 😂 quede en shock.” Notably, this isn’t the first time he has fooled people while dressed as a cleaner.

One-hand Deadlifter Anatoly

In March 2023, Shmondenko posted a video where he pranked not one but two fitness enthusiasts in one go. He approached two men who were motivating one another to perform the deadlift. Once again, he greeted his targets with his classic question: “Can I clean little bit here?” He then lifted the weight with one hand while casually cleaning the floor with the other.

This left the duo flabbergasted. He then easily kept the weight back and asked if it was for the back. Once again, he proceeded to lift it a few times with one hand. After he left, embarrassed of not being able to lift it with both hands, one of them tried lifting it the way Anatoly had done. However, he couldn’t do it.

While in both cases, the targets were left questioning their eyes for a while, Shmondenko did succeed in making them and his millions of fans smile at the end.
