Coming from a small town in Massachusetts, Jay’s rise in the bodybuilding stage was gradual but inevitable. Dethroning The King himself, Jay reached a stardom that only a few could achieve. In a recent video uploaded on his channel, Jay shared his day with fans and talked about his cardio motivation.

It is needless to say that cardio helps to increase the body’s mass index, accelerates the metabolism, and burns unwanted calories. It is a crucial part of body training and an effective way to stay fit. Being a bodybuilder himself, Jay is well aware of the importance of it.

Sharing his views, the 3x Arnold Classic winner said, “So people do cardio for different reasons to stay lean or push metabolism. I do it for all those reasons, but I also do it to kind of day think about what my processes are.” Thus, for him doing cardio is not just about staying lean. He has more reasons that keep him motivated.

Jay’s rise into the bodybuilding arena

When Jay met Marcos Rodriguez, he hardly knew that his life would take an unexpected turn. The duo came together for a partnership that lasted for years. As Marcos became Jay’s personal trainer, the latter started to learn the sport’s nuances. He was a natural at bodybuilding.

Very soon, he perfected himself in the role. Back in 1992, he made his professional debut. He entered the Gold’s gym Worcester Bodybuilding Championship. Though he came second that year, his spirits remained uncrushed. Four times, Cutler would place second to Ronnie until winning his first Sandow trophy in 2006. Cutler eventually crafted a legacy that only a few could match.
