The bodybuilding world needs no introduction when it comes to Arnold Schwarzenegger. The seven times Mr. Olympia champion turned actor is the perfect example of ultimate success. In his prime bodybuilding days, the Austrian would spend hours exercising while often hitting the gym multiple times a day. Arnold Schwarzenegger works out with Nadia Comaneci
We are all familiar with Simone Biles and her gymnastics prowess. But before Simone, the show was run by Romania’s Nadia Comaneci. She won five Olympic gold medals and a further eight Olympic and World Artistic Gymnastics championship medals. The now 60-year-old gymnast is one of the most successful athletes in the sport. A few years ago, Nadia and Arnold Schwarzenegger hit the gym together, and it was a treat to watch for the fans.

Schwarzenegger posted a small clip from their session on his official Twitter profile. In the video, Arnold is doing his reps as Nadia counts along. “8, 9, 10, that’s my lucky number (laughs).” Schwarzenegger lets go of the equipment he was working out on and high-fives Nadia before hugging her and thanking her.
Arnold then said, “Nadia, she was my training partner today. What do you say about that? Huh? And my trainer!” Arnold captioned the video, “Fantastic to be trained by an Olympic champion, @nadiacomaneci10! Thanks! Here are 10 reps for your perfect 10!”
Nadia’s perfect 10
What do Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and Nadia Comaneci all have in common? The answer is scoring a perfect 10 in their routines. But what separates them and makes Nadia’s perfect score the most iconic one is that she was the first person to receive it.

At the 1976 Montreal Olympics, Comaneci made history by achieving the first-ever perfect 10 for her uneven bars routine. Interestingly, the scoreboard read 1.00 when displaying her score. This was because the manufacturer of the board (Omega) was told that receiving a perfect ten wasn’t possible. For the rest of the games, Nadia scored the perfect score another six times. She was 14 at the time. She was also the first-ever Romanian gymnast to win the Olympics all-around title.
