Unearthed Image Shows 235lbs Heavy Arnold Schwarzenegger Holding the Weight of Three Bodybuilding Beasts Alone on His Back

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a name synonymous with success, dedication, and hard work. Arnold achieved greatness after years of relentless hard work and sacrifice. The legendary bodybuilder is famous for his heavily muscled body and humble nature. Despite having to relocate to California for pursuing his bodybuilding career, the legend left no stones unturned.

Arnold displayed incredible potential ever since his debut as an amateur bodybuilder. The Austrian-Oak announced his retirement from the sport of bodybuilding in 1975 to focus on his acting career. Despite having a slow start in films, he persevered his way to become one of the greatest action heroes of the 1980s.

The legendary bodybuilder was born in Austria and started bodybuilding at the age of 14. His coach introduced him to bodybuilding. As bodybuilding became his passion, he decided to pursue it professionally. Arnold moved to California to build his career as a bodybuilder. He would train at Gold’s in California with many budding bodybuilders.

Recently, a picture of Arnold from his training days resurfaced on the internet. The picture shocked many users as Arnold who weighed 235lbs bore the weight of three other bodybuilders on his back. The most astonishing part of the picture was the fact that there were two great bodybuilders on his back.

Legendary bodybuilder Frank Zane sat right on Arnold’s back and Franco Columbu was seated on Zane’s shoulder. Arnold bore an unimaginable weight on his back. Despite that, the legend managed to strike a smile for the picture.

Arnold’s relationship with Frank Zane

The relationship between Arnold and Frank Zane goes way back. Arnold had seen only a few losses throughout his illustrious career. Whenever he would contest in a competition, it was always believed that he would march out victorious. However, this was not the case when he competed against Frank Zane at the Mr. Universe competition in 1968.

Frank Zane was in monstrous shape at the time and won the Mr. Universe title that year, thereby defeating Arnold. Speaking about his remarkable victory he said, “I was one of the only guys ever to beat him in competition, and that show was mine to win.”

After their first meeting at Mr. Universe, Arnold and Zane became great friends. Zane described Arnold as a very focused bodybuilder. Arnold’s personality impressed Frank. He stayed with Arnold at his apartment while he visited California for a couple of days. They trained together after which Frank made up his mind to move to California permanently.
