Seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger was the most prominent bodybuilder of his time. While his predecessor, the legendary Sergio Oliva, had earned the nickname ‘The Myth’ because of his muscularity and size, Schwarzenegger was taller and heavier. Until 6’4” tall Lou Ferrigno stepped onto the Olympia stage, the Austrian Oak dwarfed his competition. Hence, it’s tough to imagine the bodybuilding legend looking small beside other people. However, that’s exactly what happened in the Governator’s latest Instagram post.

Earlier today, the former Mr. Universe shared a snap on his Instagram page. The Austrian Oak clicked the still with a former UFC champion and an NFL offensive tackler. Despite looking small beside the two giants, Schwarzenegger’s sense of humor remained intact.

Despite being 75, the bodybuilding icon goes to the gym regularly, and that’s where he met the two athletes. In the picture Arni uploaded, he stood in the middle, as on his right side stood former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, while on his left stood the New York Jets offensive tackler Mekhi Becton. The two athletes made the Austrian look small.

Even in his prime, Arnold Schwarzenegger weighed around 260 lbs during the offseason. However, at 75, Schwarzenegger weighs considerably less. Meanwhile, the former UFC heavyweight champion also weighs around 260 lbs, but with a height of 6’4, the athlete is two inches taller. The NFL player is even taller and heavier than Francis ‘The Predator’ Ngannou.

Standing 6’7” tall, Mekhi Becton is three inches taller than The Predator and five inches taller than the Predator (1987) actor. As an offensive tackler, Becton needs to be at his heaviest throughout the year. He weighs over 360 lbs, a whopping 100 lbs heavier than Schwarzenegger in his prime. “Now I know how Danny feels,” Schwarzenegger wrote in the caption.

It seems the seven-time Mr. Olympia has no issues laughing at his own expense. The Austrian’s caption was a reference to his Twins co-star Danny DeVito. Standing 4’10” tall, DeVito looked tiny beside the Austrian Oak in their 1988 comedy. Interestingly, this isn’t the only time the Hollywood icon got dwarfed in a picture.

It happened once in the 80s

The former Mr. Universe once clicked a similar picture beside two other athletes. While filming Conan the Destroyer (1984), Schwarzenegger took a now-iconic set of photographs with two giants. Professional basketballer Wilt Chamberlain who was 7’1” tall, and André René Roussimoff, aka. Andre the Giant, who was 7’4” tall, starred in the Conan the Barbarian (1982) sequel.
