“Time to Go Maria”: Arnold Schwarzenegger Publicly Took a Dig at Ex-Wife During Tom Hanks Party to Save Everyone From Bruce Springsteen Once

The interest multiplied when it was revealed that ex-couple Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver too marked their attendance.

The time when Arnold had to seek Maria’s help to crack everyone up 

Though a party is usually the time when one gets to enjoy it to the fullest, the “Glory Days” singer was perhaps in a different mood that day. As Bruce took the stage, he decided to share an impactful story at the dinner party. Sharing the fascinating tale, Wenner, in his memoir ‘Like a Rolling Stone,’ shared the incident.

Hearing Bruce Springsteen speak, the entire room sat in silence. Explaining Bruce’s story, Wenner gave a gist. He wrote, “once you get married, there’s another person you have to be considerate of and share your life with [as] your equal.”  As Bruce concluded his tale, he was met with silence.

Too engrossed in his story, there was hardly any notice. Not until the Terminator star decided to break the chain. Lightening the mood, the ace bodybuilder commented, “Time to go, Maria! Heel!’  Upon hearing Arnie, the room erupted in laughter. Whether or not Arnold left remains a mystery, but the fact that he managed to crack everyone up is one story that needs to be shared.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver: A look into their relationship

When Arnold met Maria at a Kenedy event, he knew she was special. Smitten by her charm, the budding actor could not help but fall for the Shriver-Kenedy descendant. The two soon began dating and decided to make things official on April 26, 1986. In front of cheering 500 guests, the couple said ‘I do’ at the iconic St. Francis Xavier Church in Massachusetts.

However, things did not go as planned. Maria filed for divorce in 2011 when it was revealed that Arnold had fathered a child outside of wedlock. After a decade-long legal battle, the divorce was finally settled in 2022. The two now lead a separate life but remain cordial on terms.
