“Time to Engage in Twitter War”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter Backed Him Over Feud With Former POTUS Donald Trump 5 Years Ago

Being a figure of public importance is not easy. Regardless of what one does, the eyes are always gazing. The difficulties arise more if the scrutiny comes from the President himself. When former United States President Donald Trump held the chair, the public often found him locking horns with ex-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Members of the Republican party, neither of the politician left the other any space.

The two have been very vocal about expressing their opinions and often engaged in Twitter wars. These constant words exchanged once made Arnold’s daughter worried. Back in 2017, when Katherine sat for an interview with People, she took a stand for her father.

Arnold’s daughter took a stand for him 

Amid the ongoing Twitter war back in the year, Katherine could not stop herself from taking a stand for her father. Throwing light on the then-ongoing ‘Arnold-Donald’ Twitter feud, she said, “I’m like very territorial and protective of my family members.” Katherine was not appreciative that the former POTUS was getting involved in such trivial things.

She added whenever there’s such an exchange, she gets concerned. The author explains, “the fact that the president of our country has the time to get and engage in a Twitter war with my father is more concerning to me than anything.” She, however, stood in support of her father.

She said that she is proud of her father. Praising her dad, she quoted, “honestly, think that my dad did such an incredible job at responding, and his latest video to me was so great.” The video that Katherina refers to was posted by Arnold on Facebook, wherein he is seen sharing some advice to then President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump-Arnold Schwarzenegger and their war of words 

Despite coming from the same political party, Trump and Arnold stood poles apart in their ideologies. Apart from being politicians, the two were also from the entertainment industry. When Trump Senior announced he would run for elections, Arnold was eventually receptive. He even urged people to show him their support.

However, as time passed, the stats changed. The two time and again criticized each other on public platforms. After the Capital Hill riot, Arnold, an ex-administrator, posted a video of himself wherein he held the Trump administration accountable for their events.
