Bodybuilding legend, Jay Cutler, once shared his workout regimen and his focus parameter during the workout.

Jay Cutler has an unpopular approach to his workout regimen

The 4-time Mr. Olympia and 3-time Arnold Classic winner, Jay Cutler, has made a big impact in the bodybuilding world. Cutler had to make a huge physique to defeat the 8X Mr. Olympia in 2006. He dethroned the mighty Ronnie Coleman to win his first Mr. Olympia.

Cutler’s mass building was all about high-volume training and he tend to focus on the pump while training. Cutler once shared“I’m a high volume trainer where I‘ll do 20 sets per body part. This is almost unheard of but for me it’s the way to go.

He continued, “I always trained more for the pump and the sets and not going to failure every single rep. Sometimes it’s good to throw in the shock training but for me it’s all about training for the pump.”

Jay Cutler’s workout regimen and his body measurements

Jay Cutler workouts five days a week and takes two rest days. Moreover, as he liked to do high-volume workouts, he prefers to do one group of muscles a day. His training schedule looks like this:

Day 1- Chest

Day 2- Arms

Day 3- Back

Day 4 – Off

Day 5- Shoulders

Day 6 – Legs

Day 7- Off

With his traditional bro split workout regimen, he built an incredible physique. During his peak, Cutler weighed around 265-275lbs, where his arms measured 21″, and his chest was 58″. He always believed his leg muscles were the best, which measured thighs of 30″ and calves of 19″. Cutler created a beast-like body and became an inspiration to millions.
