Jay Cutler is a famous retired American bodybuilder. Cutler is a four-time Mr. Olympia title winner and is potentially one of the best pro bodybuilders in history. The champion bodybuilder is famous for his massive quadriceps and the quad-stomp pose.

Cutler is a wealthy athlete and owns many luxurious things, including expensive cars. However, the bodybuilder once revealed that he would never own a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.

Why does Jay Cutler dislike these world-famous sports cars?

Every child, rich or poor, has a dream car that they aim to own one day. And most people’s dream car list always has the world-famous sports car brand- Lamborghini and Ferrari on top of their list.

However, that was not the case with legendary bodybuilder Cutler. In 2014, the Olympia champion confessed that these two supercars never attracted him due to his physique. In an interview with Barbara Terry, Cutler revealed, “Every kid has posters of, like, Ferraris and Lamborghinis and stuff, but those cars are, for me, not really practical because I can’t fit in half of them.” He further explained, “I’ve driven everything between Ferraris and Lamborghinis, and they’re not real fun to drive. In my opinion, it’s like you’re whipping around and you can’t really go many places comfortably.”

Lamborghini and Ferrari are sports cars that are built in a compressed way. These cars are usually lacking headroom and often have seats for only two people. Keeping all these features in mind, the muscled bodybuilder never wished to own these luxurious cars.

“If you want to go with a group of people – and I travel a lot with an entourage – you can’t really carry more than two peo­ple in a sports car,” Cutler further justified his answer. Nonetheless, the legendary bodybuilder owns many other luxurious cars that are comfortable for Cutler to drive around.

Some cars owned by Cutler

His first car was a 1981 Toyota corolla, which he learned to drive at the young age of 14. Cutler also owned a sports car – Mazda RX7, which he had bought when he was still in high school. Cutler’s dream car was a Corvette, and he fulfilled his dream by buying one in 2000.

The legendary bodybuilder also owned a 740 BMW and a 750 BMW, both models. In a bodybuilding competition, Cutler also won two Hummer trucks.

The car lover also owned a Mercedes Benz SL500 convertible and some Jaguars and Porsches. The renowned bodybuilder possessed or still owns almost every brand of expensive cars except Lamborghini and Ferrari.
