Ronnie Coleman reveals bodybuilders’ dedication in competitions other than Mr. Olympia
Ronnie Coleman is the bodybuilder with the highest Mr. Olympia titles with Lee Haney. However, according to the legend, he and other bodybuilders didn’t put the same effort into the other competitions apart from Mr. Olympia. Coleman said, “A lot of times they were giving us hamburgers.”
Coleman added, “Nobody was like really hardcore dieting. We know, we were just there for you know, hanging out with the fans and make a little extra money and everybody had that same attitude.”
Coleman also said that he found out that the body peaks once a year. In that case, no one would want their body to not be at its peak when they competed for Mr. Olympia.
Coleman: Except for one or two, nobody is in shape
As per Coleman, in competitions like the Grand Prix or some other, none of the bodybuilders gives their best. They do not push their limits or diet strictly. The competitions mostly are organized back to back, so the athletes don’t give their everything and just cruise through them.
