Jay Cutler is one of the most popular bodybuilding personalities of the 2000s. He won the Mr. Olympia title four times and became the runner-up six times. Even though he couldn’t become the best every time, he certainly was one of the most dominant bodybuilders of that period. After facing defeats against Ronnie Coleman, he managed to win two consecutive titles in 2006 and 2007. However, in 2008, he had to yet again face defeat against Dexter Jackson. Although in 2009, Cutler came back strong as ever. In addition, he gave the world one of the most iconic pictures in the history of bodybuilding.

Jay Cutler’s quad stomp became a perfect picture frame

A quad stomp is a pose that put Jay Cutler’s name more efficiently in the history of bodybuilding. No bodybuilder had won the Olympia title after sliding so down in the competition rank. But that one quad stomp from Cutler completely changed the rank list. Dexter and Warren didn’t expect that at all. Cutler once recalled that historic moment in an interview.

He saidI looked down at my leg you know, and I was like, you know let me see what kind of striations I have because you know, I always had in my left leg, crazy striations on the outer head. I looked down at the leg and you know I flexed the leg. And I looked at the audience like okay, here it is and they went crazy, and then I hit the up and thigh but I never realised when I locked that leg and I kind of looked down and as I looked down, it was never posed.
