Although he had undergone several surgeries, Ronnie Coleman was often seen working out in his Instagram posts and videos. He believed that working out will stop his muscles from atrophying. “I’m just training so my body doesn’t atrophy as much as it already has at the moment,” stated Coleman. He added, “I’m really tiny at the moment, but it’s all good because we all know muscles have memory.”
Clearly for Coleman, passion for working out tops the list, when the other choice is staying well and put.
How did Coleman got injured?
The bodybuilding prodigy, throughout his journey of becoming a legend, performed various squats and deadlifts. The deadlifts weighed 800 lbs, which is more than double his weight. However, those heavy weights stressed out his body. He continued working out despite his deteriorating situation. It cost him two hip replacement surgeries and the confines of a wheelchair.
